Printable Marriage Application Requirements

ALL MARRIAGE LICENSES ARE BY APPOINTMENT ONLY AND PERFORMED THROUGH A VIRTUAL APPLICATION INTERVIEW.

Call 262-653-2552 to schedule an appointment once you have an officiant, a location and are able to provide an email for correspondence. Appointments will be available to be scheduled on Monday, Wednesdays and Thursdays.

You MUST have access to a phone or computer with video calling/chatting and access to a printer.

If you do not have access to a printer, please plan to complete the interview where you can access your email and print documents if necessary. You may conduct the interview either at home, someone else's residence or even the public library, so that you have access to BOTH your email and a printer.

Once you set an appointment for application, you will receive an initial email with the virtual meeting invite as well as an application document that MUST BE COMPLETED AND RETURNED VIA EMAIL before 4 pm the day prior to your appointment. The morning of your video appointment, you will receive copies of your completed application documents that must be reviewed timely, confirmed via email, and printed prior to the beginning of the video call. You will be required to provide your social security number, credit or debit card information for payment and take an oath to sign the license in front of the Deputy Clerk during the video call.

Please be prepared for your scheduled appointment, have all the required documents organized and officiant's contact information to ensure a quick application process.
