The Kenosha County Division of Veterans Services invites the public to an open house this Friday, Feb. 23.
The event will be held from 10:30 a.m. to noon in the Veterans Services Office, located on the north end of the Kenosha County Job Center building, 8600 Sheridan Road.
This is an opportunity for veterans and others in the community to meet recently appointed Veterans Services Director Jennifer Blasi and other members of the office staff.
“I had the honor of assuming the role of Veterans Services Director in January, and we've brought several new people aboard in recent months to fill staffing vacancies in the office,” Blasi said. “I encourage veterans and their families to stop in, meet our team, and learn more about the services that we provide.”
The Kenosha County Veterans Service Office assists local veterans and their families with obtaining local, state and federal benefits. Staff members specialize in assisting veterans throughout their claim process.
