An upcoming reconstruction of Kenosha County Highway H (88th Avenue) between 93rd Place and Bain Station Road in Pleasant Prairie will be the subject of a virtual public involvement meeting at 4:30 p.m. Thursday, July 22.

This project includes the addition of turn lanes to accommodate a new development in the area. Work is expected to begin late this month, with completion anticipated in late-September.

This portion of Highway H will be closed while construction occurs, but access to businesses and residences will be maintained.

The virtual public meeting will include a brief presentation at 4:30 p.m., followed by a question-and-answer session with project leaders. The meeting is an opportunity for the public to learn about construction staging, traffic operations and access during construction.

The meeting may be viewed live and thereafter by visiting www.kenoshacounty.org/504/Highways.

The presentation will be available for download once the meeting has begun by visiting https://bit.ly/CTH_H_Presentation.

Questions may be submitted before, during or after the meeting at https://bit.ly/CTH_H_Comments. Questions sent after the conclusion of the meeting will be responded to via email.

Those who are unable to access the meeting documents may contact County Highway H Public Involvement Lead Rachel Andreoli at 262-977-0234 or by email at rachel@devorpr.com, and arrangements will be made to share the information.

A meeting invitation delivered to area residents and businesses, which includes a map of the project area, may be viewed here.
