Hiking Trails

Hiking trails are commonly built within ecologically sensitive areas. Hiking trails are commonly 2-6 foot wide gravel or compacted soil trails that are more adventurous within densely forested and prairie habitats with varying topography. Due to the design and maintenance of the hiking trails, these trails are recommended for hikers, runners, and dog walkers. Mountain bikes are encouraged to use multi-use trails and/or purpose-built mountain bike trails.
