Highway C/U Intersection Project

About the Project 

Kenosha County, in partnership with PREMIER Design + Build Group, is reconstructing the intersection of Highway C (Wilmot Road) and Highway U (136th Avenue). These improvements include the installation of a traffic signal and left-turn lanes on Highway C. 

Improvements to the north section of Highway U will take place beginning in August 2023, followed by reconstruction of the intersection. Substantial completion of the project is expected in late fall 2023, with the remaining work to be completed in spring 2024.
