Sheriff Mobile Command

About the Unit

The Kenosha County Sheriff’s Department Mobile Command Unit consists of a 12-man team.  The team has a unit commander and 11 KSD deputies.  The team is responsible for transporting the command center and all of the logistics behind the maintenance and setup for various scenarios.

The SMC Unit is utilized in emergency situations where the Sheriff’s Department needs to be close to an active crime scene, natural disaster, or significant event where having a mobile command center is beneficial to the overall protection of the public.
