Daytime pile-driving operations on the Kenosha County Highway WG (128th Street) bridge over the Dutch Gap Canal in the Village of Bristol are scheduled to begin Monday, March 21, continuing for approximately two weeks.

Businesses and residents should be aware that there will be noise and dust associated with this work. Steps will be taken to minimize these effects.

This work is associated with the reconstruction of the Dutch Gap Canal bridge, which began in February and will continue through mid-summer.

Highway WG remains closed to through traffic between Highway MB (152nd Avenue) and Highway 45 (Bristol Road). A posted detour is routing drivers around the closure via highways MB, CJ (Horton Road) and 45.

Please note: This work schedule is weather dependent and subject to change.

A project overview document that includes a map of the project area and detour is available here.
