Portions of Kenosha County highways F and V in the Village of Salem Lakes will have closures beginning Monday, May 9.
Highway F (Silver Lake Road) will be closed at the Canadian National Railway crossing 0.4 miles of Highway B, to allow the railroad to repair the crossing. The railroad expects this work will take 10 days to complete.
A posted detour will send drivers around the closure via highways B (296th Avenue), AH (98th Street) and SA (277th Avenue).
Highway V (224th Avenue) is scheduled to be closed for one day only on Monday between highways JS (107th Street) and V (116th Street) for a culvert replacement. The road will be impassible at the worksite, just north of 116th Street.
Drivers are encouraged to use highways 45 (Bristol Road) and JS as alternate routes.
This work schedule is weather dependent and is subject to change.
