Kenosha County Thrive: Community Health Improvement Plan

This is Kenosha County Thrive, a community-guided effort to assess the needs of Kenosha County in order to keep us healthy and thriving.

About Kenosha County Thrive

Kenosha County Thrive is a data-driven plan to continue improvements to Kenosha County’s quality of life. This Community Health Improvement Plan (CHIP) is championed by Kenosha County Government, Kenosha County Public Health, Aurora Healthcare, and Froedtert South.

We determine Kenosha County’s health needs through a series of data collection encompassed in the Community Health Assessment (CHA). The CHA began in the summer of 2022 and ended in December 2022.

Forms of Data Collection

  • Kenosha County Online Survey
The survey questions were written and organized in conjunction with local stakeholders and leaders.
  • Community Conversations
We held multiple world café style community conversations in Kenosha County to hear a direct analysis of our community and expectations for the future.
  • Wisconsin County Health Rankings Report
County Health Rankings and Roadmaps intensely analyze multiple data sources and variables to critically rank each county in Wisconsin and America in several categories. We use these rankings to compare Kenosha County to other counties in Wisconsin and similar counties across the country.
